Hello Mrs Jones.

Apart from Brian Dear's 5 goals in 20 minutes, he was the top scorer in the ECWC in 1964/5 season. He actually had a goal disallowed in the final at Wembley after a superb through ball from Bobby Moore. The DVD indicates the goal should have stood! Geoff Hurst failed to score a single goal in that tournament.
Stag is a great bloke. He meets all the ex players regularly and I believe he attends the funerals of all those that have passed away since his days at West Ham.
Greenwood sacked him after the Blackpool affair in January 1971, being one of the culprits involved.
In my opinion he is a genuine West Ham legend!

I remember a load of us in the Rio singing "He's fat, he's round, we'll buy him for a pound, Viduka, Viduka" when Leeds had a fire sale years ago.

Jon Parkin was a fat bastard throughout his entire career. Listened to his podcast a few times and he seems to take pride in the fact he was a fat cunt who only followed the money. At least he's honest!
